Do you believe that gays are guaranteed the right to a fair trial?
How about black men?
Black women?
Hispanics?
Citizens over 55?
Jews?
Gypsies?
Red heads?
Anyone at all?
Wrong. You guessed wrong, because you have not studied our Constitution like this man.
But, excuse me, we were talking about The World We Want. Sorry to get off topic.

Howdy Comrades,

I did visit. Copies of Orwell's 1984 to those in Congress who voted for the Military Commissions Act, while we asked ourselves about the world we want, and the world we have, that of a democratic republic, ebbed away, through the efforts of both parties. But we do have a growing electronic flea market in eBay and we have been told by its founder, worth $10 billion plus that "People are basically good." How do we relate, then, to the important people in this book who lived through this era with us, and who seem so content with things, so much in their element, so used to respectful interviews? These resourceful people could have done more; they might have done their utmost. In years to come it will be mystery how "The World We Want" was published in 2007, with no mention of the tipping point that past during its writing. Sleepwalking to Tyranny could have been the subtitle. People are basically sheep, as I am sure our betters have confirmed to their own satisfaction.
